Context

Retina Vision Consultants required a robust and reliable network infrastructure to support the operations of a modern ophthalmology clinic. The facility includes multiple consultation rooms, administrative offices, and shared workspaces that demand fast, stable connectivity for medical systems, imaging equipment, and staff operations.

The project required careful planning to deploy a structured cabling infrastructure during the construction phase, followed by a rapid execution stage to finalize network readiness before the clinic became operational.

Network Infrastructure Design

• Designed a high-performance wired and wireless network architecture.
  
• Planned coverage to ensure strong WiFi signal across all workspaces and clinical areas. 

Structured Cabling Deployment

• Installed 165 Cat6 network drops across offices and consultation rooms.
  
• Implemented a cable management pathway using J-hooks from workspaces to the MDF.
  
• Terminated, labeled, tested, and certified every network drop to industry standards. 

Rack & Network Equipment Installation

• Built and organized the main network rack (MDF).
  
• Installed and connected network switches, router, and supporting equipment.
  
• Completed patching and cable management within the rack. 

Wireless & Security Deployment

• Installed 7 enterprise WiFi access points to ensure full coverage and performance.

Network Configuration & ISP Integration
