About the Job
The ideal candidate will provide support in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment where she/he will be working on a diversity of projects. These projects can be related to IT, AV and Data Center construction and reconditioning. Installation and configuration of computing devices, servers, networking devices like switches, routers, Wi-Fi Access Points, and infrastructure cabling; Installation and configuration of Audio and Video equipment for collaboration. You will work alongside a strong team and maintain good relationships with the internal team players, and must have the soft skills to maintain direct and fluent communication and reporting with our customers.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing Operations and Project Management
- “Hands-on” mindset and skillset.
- Manage customer projects from Initiation to Close Out with quality and profitability in mind.
- Participate in installing and configuring equipment, devices, and systems, enhancements within the technical areas, and validate the quality of work from the integration partners.
- Daily teamwork with Sales.
- Be focused on customer service operations and on finding ways to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, especially in the technical field (Network/Data Center/AV).
- Excellent time management and strong organizational skills.
- Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head off obstacles.
- Ability to work independently, establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- A solid foundational understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture, including Audio and Video installations and engineering knowledge.
- Sense of balance between the roles of project manager and technical advisor. Assume the responsibilities of a project manager including technical activities like, meet technical industry standards, guarantee installation quality, and customer approval.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in both technical and non-technical terms.
- Provide cost information per project.
Manage and Develop Technical Teams
- A strong team leader with a sense of both internal and external client service.
- Hire, train and oversee the management of internal technicians to ensure successful installations.
- Maintain and develop a network of Installation Partners to support the company’s expansion plan to the West Coast and to other states and countries.
- Monitor installer’s performance, provide feedback and necessary support.
- Ensure training plans are up to date and properly implemented.
- Handle technical escalations
- Travel to site when strategically required or in escalated situations.
Scale our Operations
- Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Utilize the company’s ERP to provide visibility, traceability and documentation to track the Operation’s Team progress.
- Identify and Implement best practices to close any gaps found.
- Build a plan to support the company’s long term expansion plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with Account Managers, Finance Managers, Engineering teams, Logistics and Procurement teams.
Success Indicators:
- Review Yearly OKRs
- Maintaining Gross Profit Margins in each project
- Successful project delivery time and quality.
- Growth in customer satisfaction during and after project completion.
- Improve the quality of our technicians team.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field.
- Certifications highly preferred (AVIXA CTA, PMO).
- Strong communication, facilitation, and influence skills.

- Advanced problem solving skills.
- Ability to build strong and collaborative relationships with individuals at all levels.
